Levitating neuroepithelial disk

Ioakeim Ampartzidis
Human induced pluripotent stem cells were shifted towards a neuroepithelial-like fate, using a short and simple differentiation protocol. The uninterrupted sheet of cells follows the convex substrate geometry, resembling a levitating disk. Substrate geometry patterns cellular heterogeneity across the epithelium, forming a continuous epithelium composed of cells with different morphologies.
