Sprouting of sympathetic neurons across a monolayer of human iPSC-derived cardiomyocytes

Neda Mohammadi
Human iPSC-derived cardiomyocytes have been cocultured with sympathetic neurons, isolated from neonatal rat pups. The aim is to understand the functional communication between both cell types. Cardiomyocytes have been stained for alpha-actinin (red) and a marker of sympathetic neurons, tyrosine hydroxylase (green).
