The Loke Centre for Trophoblast Research (Loke CTR) is an internationally recognized centre of excellence committed to advancing the scientific study of the placenta, early development, and maternal-fetal interactions. It brings together over 30 Principal Investigators at the University of Cambridge, many of whom are recognized international experts in their fields.

The Loke CTR sponsors fully funded 4-year PhD studentship at home rates, with available PhD projects advertised on our website. Each project is jointly supervised by two Loke CTR research groups, providing interdisciplinary PhD training in placental and reproductive biology.
