2 postdoc positions available in Zernicka-Goetz laboratories at California Institute of Technology (Caltech, USA) and University of Cambridge (UK)

We are looking for post-doc candidates to join our lab to utilise multidisciplinary approaches to study cell fate, symmetry breaking and self-organization in mouse and human embryos and their stem cell models that we are building from embryonic and extra- embryonic stem cells (Bedzhov and Zernicka-Goetz, Cell 2014; Harrison et al, Science 2017; Shahbazi et al, Nature, 2017; Sozen et al, Nature Cell Biology 2018; Hupalowska et al, Cell 2018; Bao et al, Nature Cell Biology 2022; Lau et al, Cell Stem Cell, 2022; Amadei et al, Nature 2022). We are particularly interested in candidates who have backgrounds in neurobiology, heart development or germ-line development although we will be delighted to consider motivated candidates in the broader field of developmental, stem cell and molecular biology.

Applications including a CV, a motivation letter, and contact details of 2-3 referees could be sent by e-mail to our lab managers: Welly Makmura wmakmura@caltech.edu (Caltech) or Maciej Meglicki mm2457@cam.ac.uk (Cambridge) and to Magdalena Zernicka-Goetz magdaz@caltech.edu. May 2023
