Postdoctoral Research Assistant

An opportunity has become available for the role of Postdoctoral Research Assistant to join Dr Gallipoli’s team (https://www.bartscancer.london/staff/dr-paolo-gallipoli/). We use complementary approaches/models to study metabolism contribution to leukaemic cell development/therapy resistance (Dembitz, BioRxiv 2023;Woodley, Nature Communication 2023&Gallipoli, Blood 2018). The project will investigate the role of mannose metabolism in normal haemopoiesis and leukaemia stem cell biology. The postholder will gain experience in characterising normal haemopoiesis and leukaemia models in vitro&in vivo, molecular biology, metabolic profiling, transcriptomics/proteomics.
