An opportunity has become available for the role of Postdoctoral Research Assistant to join Dr Gallipoli’s team ( We use complementary approaches/models to study metabolism contribution to leukaemic cell development/therapy resistance (Dembitz, BioRxiv 2023;Woodley, Nature Communication 2023&Gallipoli, Blood 2018). The postholder will gain experience in characterising leukaemia models in vitro&in vivo, molecular biology, metabolic profiling, transcriptomics/proteomics. The project aims to enhance metabolic therapies efficacy through combination with drugs or dietary interventions and identifying predictive biomarkers of response.
