Postdoctoral Research Associate

This postdoctoral research associate position is to join Dr Agnes Nishimura’s research group at the Blizard Institute, Queen Mary University of London. The post-holder will examine the effect of lipid dysregulation in stem cell lines derived from patients with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Stem cell research and molecular biology techniques will be applied to investigate the potential role of lipids in the disease mechanisms of ALS. The post-holder will participate in lab meetings, journal clubs, and departmental research meetings, co-supervise students and manage the stem cells biobank.
