As a member of the Regional Sales Management team, you will use your scientific knowledge and interpersonal skills to drive great science by supporting your team of direct reports in advising our academic, industrial, and diagnostic partners to progress their research forward. You’ll assist your team in developing territory and region specific strategies to consistently exceed revenue targets while also managing existing accounts and relationships in your region.

Duties and Responsibilities

Forecast, develop and execute territory strategies to exceed the revenue target for the UK & Ireland

Lead, manage, coach, develop, and evaluate direct reports through regular one-on-one and team meetings and by regularly accompanying individual team members on sales calls

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for Sales Rep performance evaluation through the monitoring of established Sales KPIs, and through regular 1-on-1 meetings and quarterly/yearly performance evaluations

Assist direct reports in the development and implementation of account and territory-specific strategies to meet quarterly and annual revenue and corporate goals by providing scientific sales and product expertise, knowledge of company programs and processes, and Sales department programs, processes and best practices

Assess and evaluate training and development needs of direct reports as well as recruit, hire, train and mentor new employees

Identify relevant trends in the field, communicate this market intelligence back to the senior leadership team and use this knowledge to develop commercial insight and product sales strategies

Creation and optimization of territories, as well as allocation of personnel in order to maximize sales performance in a given region as and when required

Develop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers within your own territory, through prospecting, emails, phone calls, and virtual and in-person meetings

Contribute as an active member of the European Immunology Sales Management group, providing strategic market feedback, and input on strategy planning and development
