Research Associate in Leukaemia Stem Cell Biology - Leukaemic Stem Cell Niche (LSCN) Group (ZH)
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and ambitious research associate to join the Leukaemic Stem Cell Niche (LSCN) group at the University of Manchester, funded by a Leukaemia UK John Goldman Fellowship awarded to Dr Simona Valletta. You will hold a PhD in a relevant area, and you will be an expert in normal and malignant haematopoiesis, leukaemia and ageing biology. A strong publication record in high-impact peer-reviewed journals is a prerequisite, as is the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will have strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage and independently lead, innovate, and complete your own research project. Bioinformatics expertise (RNAseq, ATACseq, single cell analysis) including coding in “R”, is desirable.
